You guys are on the right track. I'm pretty sure the external voice DNs come from CUBE. That's where the call routing and SIP trunking happens in the CCE architecture.

Exactly, CUBE is the correct source for external voice DNs in a CCE Dial Plan.

Well, I think the external voice DNs could be sourced from CUCM or CUBE. Those seem like the most logical options to me.
