Wait, did anyone else notice the typo in option C? It says 'mo' instead of 'then'. I'm not even sure what that would do!

True, B does seem a bit extreme. I'm leaning towards D - using the Recovery Mode to access Terminal and delete the login items directly.

Hmm, I don't know about that. Wouldn't reinstalling the OS in Option B be a bit overkill? That seems like a lot of work just to disable login items.

I think I know the answer! It's A. Holding the Shift key at startup will boot the iMac into Safe Mode, which disables login items.
