This is a tough one, but I think A) Existing might be the way to go. Why create a whole new network segment when you can just use the one that's already there? Work smarter, not harder, am I right?

Definitely C) Extended. I mean, who wants to deal with the hassle of a routed network when you can just extend the layer 2 segment? Easy peasy!

I'm going with D) Routed. A routed network segment would allow the virtual machine to communicate with the on-premises workload, right? Though, maybe I'm just overthinking this...

Hmm, I think the correct answer is C) Extended. Layer 2 connectivity usually means bridging the on-premises network with the cloud, so an extended network segment would make the most sense.

I'm not sure, but I think D) Routed could also be a possibility for layer 2 connectivity.

I agree with Fernanda, because an extended network segment would provide the layer 2 connectivity needed.
