I'm not sure about C and D, but E looks promising. The Velero Plugin for vSphere could be a good fit for this scenario.

Option B seems like the way to go. Standalone Velero and Restic should be able to handle the backup requirements for the Supervisor cluster, vSphere Pods, and persistent volumes.
