A reboot of vCenter Server? That's a good one! As if that would impact vSphere HA. I'm going with the network disconnect answer.

Nah, I don't think it's the cloning operations. That seems like a totally different issue. This is probably related to the network connection.

Hmm, I'm pretty sure the host being disconnected from the network is the culprit here. It would explain why the VMs couldn't failover.
