I believe option A is correct because it mentions lower impact on WAN link during off-site backups.

Ah, I see what you mean. Option D seems to be the one that addresses that scenario, so that's probably the other correct answer.

That's a good observation. And as for option C, I'm not sure if a VM with mixed storage (shared and local) would be processed using the Backup from Storage Snapshots transport mode. Sounds like it might fall back to a different mode.

But I'm not so sure about options B and C. I thought the whole point of Backup from Storage Snapshots was to use the storage infrastructure's native snapshot capabilities, so I'm not sure if it would necessarily give you higher transfer speeds from production NFS datastores.

Yeah, that's a good point. And option E also makes sense, as consolidating VM snapshots can be a time-consuming process, so using Backup from Storage Snapshots should help reduce that impact.

Okay, let's go through this step-by-step. Option A sounds reasonable, as using storage snapshots should reduce the impact on the WAN link during off-site backups.

Hmm, this question seems to be testing our knowledge of the Backup from Storage Snapshots feature in VMware vSphere. I'm not entirely sure about the answers, but let me give it a shot.
