This is a textbook example of binary classification. I mean, come on, 'spam or not spam'? That's like Machine Learning 101. The other options are just distractions.

Ha! Binary classification, of course. I'm surprised anyone would even consider the other options. Spam or not spam, sick or not sick - it doesn't get any more binary than that!

User 3: Yup, binary all the way for those clear-cut decisions.

I was hesitant between B) Multi-Class Classification and C) Binary Classification, but I think C) is the better choice here. Classifying email as spam or not, and patients as having a disease or not, are clearly binary tasks.

I'm not sure, but I think Multi-Class Classification could also be a possible option for these tasks.

The correct answer is C) Binary Classification. Both the examples given, detecting spam emails and determining if a patient has a certain disease, are binary classification problems where the output is either 'yes' or 'no'.
