This question is a real head-scratcher. The Product Owner must be a control freak to want that level of detail. Maybe they need to be put in 'time-out' during the Daily Scrum!

Option C is just ridiculous. Letting the Product Owner continue to disrupt the Daily Scrum is a recipe for disaster. The Scrum Master needs to step in and restore the true purpose of the event.

I can't believe the Product Owner wants to track every Developer's daily progress. That's like having a babysitter for the team! Option D is the only sensible choice here.

I agree, the Product Owner should trust the team to manage their own progress. Asking them to stop attending the Daily Scrum is the right move.

Option D is definitely the best choice. The Product Owner shouldn't be micromanaging the team like that.

Option B is a bad idea. The Scrum Master should facilitate, not dominate the Daily Scrum. That would defeat the purpose of the event.

The Daily Scrum is for the Developers to coordinate and plan their work, not for the Product Owner to micromanage. Option A is the way to go - the Scrum Master needs to educate everyone on the purpose of Scrum events.

But what if the conflict between the Product Owner and Developers continues? Shouldn't the Scrum Master step in?

I think the best thing for the Scrum Master to do is to coach the Product Owner and the Developers.
