I bet if the Release Train Engineer showed up with donuts, the teams would be more receptive to their problem-solving efforts. Everyone loves free food, right?
Changing the team composition? That's a drastic measure that should be a last resort. Let's try working with what we've got first before resorting to shuffling people around.
Escalating to senior management? Seriously? That's just going to create more bureaucracy and distance from the actual problem. We need a hands-on approach, not passing the buck.
I think listening to the team is the best approach. It allows the Release Train Engineer to really understand the challenges they're facing and work with them to find solutions.
