In a make-to-order process, a raw material needs to be issued from the warehouse to the manufacturing line. In which order will you post the goods issue?
As a warehouse manager, I'd be scratching my head if someone asked me to issue raw materials against a stock transfer order. D) Production order is the way to go, no doubt about it!
D) Production order, hands down. That's where the action is happening, the manufacturing line. It's like asking a chef to prepare a meal without the ingredients - not happening!
Haha, this question is a real head-scratcher! But I'm going with C) Sales order. I mean, if the customer wants it, we gotta get the raw material, right? Just kidding, I think D) Production order is the way to go.
I think the correct answer is D) Production order. It makes sense to post the goods issue for the raw material against the production order, as that's where the raw material is being consumed.
