Hmm, I'm not familiar with the WDG_MAINTAIN_UR_MIMES program, but it doesn't sound like it would be the right tool for this task. I'd go with C.

I've used the /UI5/UI5_UPLOAD_PATCH_TO_MIME program before, but that's more for uploading patches, not checking the current level. I think C is the way to go.

Option C looks like the correct answer. Checking the version of the SAP_UI software component should give you the SAPUI5 patch level.

I'm not sure, but I think option B) Execute the ICF service /sap/public/bc/ui5_ui5 might also help in determining the patch level.
