Come on, really? Creating a new alignment? That's just overkill. I'm going with option D, re-running the optimization with the correct attribute.

I think option A is the way to go. It's the quickest and easiest way to undo the optimization and get back to the previous state.

I think creating a new alignment before optimizing on the correct attribute could also work.
