Hmm, I'm not sure why they'd want to make it optional if they want it included every time. Option B seems like the clearest choice here.

Option B is the way to go. Setting the cardinality min to 1 ensures the product is added, and max to 1 prevents more than one being added. Simple and straightforward.

I disagree, I believe the cardinality Min should be 1, Max 1 and default as 1.
