Salesforce Connect and Salesforce 2 Salesforce seem like the most relevant options here. Connecting the orgs directly makes the most sense for sharing records.

I agree with Eleni. Salesforce connect allows real-time access to external data, and Salesforce 2 Salesforce enables sharing records between orgs.
