Option C is interesting, but I'm not sure that the user's role being at the top of the hierarchy is really necessary for this specific task. Might be overkill.

I'm not so sure about option B. Wouldn't it be better to have a human user authorize the service rather than a non-human admin? Seems a bit risky to me.

Option A seems like the obvious choice here. The user needs access to the quote and related objects to be able to authorize the calculation service. Makes sense to me.

I'm not sure about D), but I think C) should also be considered. The role hierarchy is important for authorization.
