The sales team at Universal Containers (UC) has received customer feedback that numerous lines on a typical Quote make it difficult to understand how the total amount breaks down across the various types of Products: Hardware, Software, and Professional Services. UC uses Quote Templates to generate Quote Documents.

Which solution would allow customers to see separate tables and subtotals organized by Product Family?

Option B all the way! Grouping by product family is the way to go. Plus, it's a good excuse to use the word 'subtotal' - who doesn't love a good subtotal, am I right?

Definitely Option B. I don't want to overcomplicate things with a custom HTML template. Keeping it simple and organized is the way to go.

Hmm, I'm not sure. Option D with the roll-up field might work, but I'm worried it could get a bit cluttered. Maybe I'll go with Option B for simplicity.

I'm leaning towards Option C. Creating a custom HTML template with separate tables for each product family could give the quote a more polished and professional look.

Option B seems like the most straightforward solution to me. Grouping the line items by product family and showing the subtotals should make it easier for customers to understand the breakdown.

I see both points, but I think option C could also work well. Having separate tables for each Product Family can make it visually appealing for customers.

I disagree, I believe option A is more efficient. Using Roll-Up Summary fields will provide a clearer view of the total amount for each Product Family.
