Wait, you can delete a History Log field? I thought those things were like cockroaches, they just keep coming back no matter what you do!

C) The user data stored within that field is saved, but all other data is deleted.

Deleting a History Log field? What is this, some kind of time travel exam? I'm just going to close my eyes and pick an answer, maybe I'll get lucky.

Option C sounds like a good compromise. The user data is saved, but the other stuff gets deleted. Probably the most practical solution if you need to get rid of that History Log field.

Definitely, it's a good balance between keeping data and cleaning up the field.

Haha, 'not possible to delete a History Log field'? What kind of question is that? Of course you can delete it, the real question is what happens to the data. I'm going with option B, it's gotta be still there in the database.

If I delete the History Log field, I'd expect all the data in it to be gone. That field is just a temporary storage, right? No way it can still be maintained by the database after deletion.

I'm not sure, but I think the data might be saved but other data is deleted.
