The Risk Register, for sure. Though I'm sure the project manager is kicking themselves right about now, wishing they had a time machine to go back and fix this mess. Maybe they can use it to go back and buy some winning lottery tickets too.

Hmm, the Lessons Report seems like a good option too. This experience could provide valuable insights to help future projects avoid similar pitfalls. Although, I guess the Risk Register is the more direct way to document this particular issue.

I agree, the Risk Register is the correct answer. This is a classic example of a risk that should have been identified and mitigated early on in the project. The project team really dropped the ball on this one.

The Risk Register is the obvious choice here. The project should have identified and assessed the risk of a competitor releasing a calendar, and that information should be documented in the Risk Register for future reference.

Closing the project prematurely might be the best option if the risk was not properly assessed and recorded in the Risk Register.
