Hmm, I'm not so sure. Option B does seem tempting, especially if we're already behind schedule. But I agree, we need to be careful about scope creep. Maybe we could compromise and do a bit of preliminary design on item B, just to get a head start, but not fully commit to it until the second iteration?

You know, I was just thinking the same thing. Deferring the design of item B is probably the safest bet. We don't want to end up in a situation where we're trying to cram too much in and end up with a subpar product.
