Visualizing the value stream or work in progress? Nah, that's not what a CTQ tree is all about. This is definitely a case of 'A' marks the spot.

B is an interesting option, but I don't think it quite captures the essence of a CTQ tree. That's more about aligning IT with the customer, not the other way around.

I agree, A is the clear winner. Translating the voice of the customer is exactly what the CTQ tree is designed to do.
