A stateless firewall? Really? That's like trying to catch a thief by only looking at the door they came in through. Next-generation firewall FTW!

The port-based firewall is great for limiting access, but it won't be able to detect the subtle signs of a coordinated attack. Next-generation is the security component we need.

I'm not sure, but I think C) personal endpoint firewall could also be a good option.

I'm not sure a personal endpoint firewall would be able to see the bigger picture across the entire data center. Next-gen firewall is the way to go.

I agree with Arthur, next-generation firewall can detect command-and-control traffic.

A next-generation firewall seems like the obvious choice here. It can inspect the traffic for suspicious command-and-control patterns across multiple endpoints.
