Haha, this is a tricky one! I bet the test-makers are trying to catch us out with the 'never' option. But we all know that zero is the only number that has an absolute value of zero, so C is the correct answer.

I agree with Sharika. The absolute value function returns the distance of a number from zero, and zero is its own distance from zero, so the answer is C.

But what if the input parameter (N) is less than zero? Wouldn't it also return 0?

The absolute value of a number is always non-negative, so the answer must be C. When the input parameter (N) is zero, the absolute value is also zero.
