I'm not so sure about that. The way I see it, if a key is missing, the ResourceBundle should just return the key as the value. So I think the answer is D, Goodbye everyone!

I'm leaning towards option A, Compilation fails. If the properties file has a duplicate key, that should cause a problem during compilation, right?

Okay, let's think this through. The properties file has two keys, HELLO_MSG and GOODBY_MSG. If we try to access a non-existent key, like GOODBYE_MSG, what do you think will happen?
