I'm going with C and D. Can't go wrong with a little redundancy, and Eligibility Criteria just seems like the elegant solution here.

E) Use the Skip Flag in the VEE rule.

That sounds like a solid plan. Having two different VEE groups and using Eligibility Criteria should cover all bases.

I bet the designers of this exam are just trying to trip us up. 'Negative Consumption' - sounds like a bad sci-fi movie if you ask me!

B is just asking for trouble - removing the Negative Consumption check entirely? No way, that's asking for some serious data issues down the line.

Option E with the Skip Flag sounds intriguing, but I'm not sure how reliable that would be. Seems like it could get messy if you're not careful.

I think using Eligibility Criteria could also work well.

I think option D is the way to go. Using Eligibility Criteria would allow you to selectively apply the Negative Consumption rule without modifying the base VEE rule.

It's important to have a way to apply the rule only where necessary, and option D provides that flexibility.

Option D is a good choice. It allows for selective application of the Negative Consumption rule.

Option C makes the most sense to me. Creating two separate VEE groups seems like the best way to apply the Negative Consumption rule only to the energy received (import) data.

Modifying the base VEE rule could be another way to ensure that the Negative Consumption rule is checked only for energy received data.

Removing the Negative Consumption check from the VEE group might not be the best option as it needs to be applied specifically to energy received data.

I think using the Skip Flag in the VEE rule could also work to check the Negative Consumption rule for energy received data only.

I agree, creating two different VEE groups would ensure that the Negative Consumption rule is only applied to the energy received data.

I'm not sure about creating two different VEE groups. Maybe we can use the Skip Flag in the VEE rule instead.

I agree with Janella. We can also create two different VEE groups to check the rule only for energy received.

I think we should modify the base VEE rule for the Negative Consumption check.
