I wonder if the exam writers had a good laugh coming up with that silly file permissions option. It's like they're trying to trick us into thinking about traditional storage management, when Exadata is all about the higher-level security features.

Haha, file permissions on the griddisks in each storage server? That's like trying to herd cats! Exadata was designed to abstract away those low-level storage details, so that's definitely not the way to go.

Ah, I see now. The key is to use the database-scoped security mode for Exadata storage realms to control access between the databases. Nice to have an option that's specific to the Exadata environment.

I think file permissions on the griddisks won't work, since multiple databases share the storage. EXADCLI also doesn't sound like the right approach. Let me research the Exadata storage realms feature a bit more.

I agree, using Exadata storage realms seems like the best way to control access to the griddisks.

Options A and E seem relevant, as Exadata storage realms can control database access to griddisks. But I'm not sure about the difference between ASM-scoped and database-scoped security modes.

I'm not sure, but I think D) File permissions on the griddisks in each storage server could also be a valid option.

I agree with Jerry, because ASM-scoped security mode allows for controlling access at the storage level.
