You know, I'm starting to think this exam question is just trying to trick us. Maybe the real answer is to use a magical spell to enable syslog logging for resource controls. Or summon a genie, that could work too.

Haha, no way! D has to be the answer. The setrctl command? That's clearly made up. I'm going with A.

I disagree, I believe A is the right choice. Using the rctladm command seems more logical.

Wait, I thought C was the answer. The ipcs command is used to report on system resource usage, so it makes sense that it would be used to enable syslog logging for resource controls.

I'm pretty sure B is the right answer. The prctl command is used to control and report on various process-level resource controls, which should include enabling syslog logging.

I'm not sure, but E sounds like a possible solution. By default, global logging of resource control violations is already enabled. Make an entry in the syslog.conf file and refresh the system-log service.

I think option A is the correct answer here. The rctladm command is specifically used to manage the global resource control facility, which includes enabling syslog logging.

I'm not sure, but I think option E) might also be a valid choice. It mentions making an entry in the syslog.conf file, which could be a way to set up logging.

I agree with Angelyn. Enabling the global syslog attribute with rctladm makes sense for monitoring resource controls.
