Ah, the old distribution constructor conundrum! I'm going with C on this one. No checkpoints without the right CLI option. Wouldn't want to get caught out by that one!

Haha, I bet the person who wrote this question is trying to catch us out! I'm going with B - the distribution constructor will stop at each checkpoint until we restart it. Gotta love these tricky certification exams.

I think the answer is D. The distribution constructor should only stop at a checkpoint if there's an error, right? Seems like the most logical behavior to me.

The correct answer is C. The distribution constructor won't use checkpoints without the right CLI option. I've seen this trip up my colleagues before - it's important to read the docs carefully!

I disagree, I believe the answer is A. The distribution constructor will create a snapshot of the data directory at a checkpoint and report errors in the log file until completed.
