I'm leaning towards A. If the data is mostly unique, then the dedup ratio would be 1.00x, even with deduplication enabled.

Earleen: Maybe it's because the dedupratio property on the zpool hasn't been set. That could be the second reason.

I'm not sure, but I think it could also be E. If you haven't added any data since setting the dedup property, there won't be any duplicates to detect.

Hmm, I think the answer is D. You have to set the dedupratio property on the zpool, not just the dedup property on the file system.
