E is a tricky one. The alert log and trace files are typically open, but I'm not sure if that's a requirement for a mounted but not opened database instance.

F is definitely not true. Instance recovery is only performed when the database is opened, not when it's just mounted.

B is not correct, as the data files are not open in read-only mode when the database is mounted but not opened. That's a good one though!
