Wait, so we can use the Queryable Patch feature to check for patches while the database is down? That's like being able to check your refrigerator while you're on vacation. Sounds a bit far-fetched to me.

Option C looks good to me. DBMS_QOPATCH sounds like the way to go for viewing installed patches. At least it's not as cryptic as some of the other database packages.

Haha, this question is so tricky! I bet the developers of this feature had a field day coming up with all these misleading options.

I'm not sure about the details of the Queryable Patch feature, but option D sounds a bit fishy. I thought it only worked with the database instance in OPEN mode, not just mounted.

Option B seems to be the correct answer. The Queryable Patch feature doesn't use the PREPROCESSOR feature, which is used for a different purpose.

Yes, that's correct. The Queryable Patch feature actually uses DBMS_QOPATCH to provide a PL/SQL or SQL interface for viewing installed patches.

I think you're right. Option B is incorrect because the Queryable Patch feature does not use the PREPROCESSOR feature.

I believe the correct answer is A) as well. The Queryable Patch inventory feature does not retrieve patch information from a SQL prompt.
