I'm pretty sure A and C are the right answers. The Oracle Notification Service and FCF's connection handling sound like the way to go. As for B, I'd rather not set my network timeouts too low - I don't want my data source to have a nervous breakdown!

Wow, this question is a real brain-teaser! I'm just hoping I don't end up like a RAC node when I finish this exam.

C) FCF is faster because it polls and tests connection, freeing the data source from these tasks.

I'm going with A and E. The Oracle Notification Service is used, and you can use any Oracle Thin database driver with a GridLink data source. B and C sound a bit too good to be true, to be honest.

Yeah, A and E seem like the most reliable choices. B and C do sound a bit too good to be true.

D is definitely wrong. FCF doesn't require the use of a database server in the GridLink data source. That just doesn't make sense.

I'm not sure about B and D, they don't seem to be related to the Fast Connection Failover pattern.

I agree with Dorthy, A and C make sense because they talk about how GridLink data sources react quickly.

I think A and C are the correct statements. The Oracle Notification Service is used to notify the data source of changes to RAC nodes, and FCF is faster because it handles the polling and testing of connections, freeing up the data source.
