This is a tricky one, but Connections is definitely the way to go. Bytes could be misleading.

Agree, Channel X Connections is the best metric to look at. Bytes sent and received could be skewed by the type of data being transferred.

Channel X Connections being higher makes the most sense, as that directly measures the overall usage of the channel.
