But what about option C) Both old and new application versions deployed to production at the same time? Wouldn't that provide redundancy in case something goes wrong?
I agree with Maxima. A blue/green deployment strategy involves deploying new versions gradually to avoid any sudden issues affecting all users at once.
I think the answer is A) Current applications are slowly replaced with new application versions. That way we can ensure a smooth transition without any downtime.
