Duplexing backup sets sounds like a dance move from the 80s. I can just see the RMAN Shuffle now.

B: Yeah, it's like having a backup of your backup. Better safe than sorry!

A: Duplexing backup sets is actually a method to create redundant copies of your data.

Hmm, this is a tough one. I'm going to go with Options A and C, as they seem the most straightforward. The other options sound a bit too complicated to be true.

This question is tricky! I'm pretty sure Option F is correct, as duplexing would definitely require twice the number of channels. But the other options are a bit unclear to me.

I think Option C is correct, as we can duplex a tape backup to another tape. But I'm not sure about the others, they seem a bit confusing.

I'm not sure about the others either. It's a bit confusing to understand the differences between them.

I think Option B is also true. You can duplex a non-duplexed backup set written to disk by backing up the backup set that is already on disk.

Option A seems logical, as duplexing would require additional channels. However, I'm not sure about the other options, especially the ones involving disk and tape duplexing.

I agree, but I'm not sure about the other options. Maybe we should double check the documentation.

That's interesting, I didn't consider that. We should definitely review all the options to understand them better.

I believe option C is also true, where a non-duplexed backup set written to SBT can be duplexed to tape.

I'm not sure about option F though. Does a duplexed backup set always use twice as many SBT channels?

I agree with you, Roselle. Option B makes sense for RMAN duplexed backup sets.

I think option B is true because you can duplicate a backup set already on disk.

I agree with you, Noelia. Option F is also true because a duplexed backup set always uses twice as many SBT channels as a non-duplexed backup set for the same number of files.
