A volume group is like a storage unit, and the administrator seems to have misplaced some of the items inside. Remounting it should help them find the missing data, like shaking the couch cushions.

The correct answer is B. Unmounting and remounting the Volume Group should reclaim the deleted storage capacity. Shrinking the Volume Group or running Defrag won't help in this case.
