Hmm, I'm not so sure about that. What if the vNIC ports are actually disconnected on the affected VMs? That could also explain why they can't connect to other parts of the network, even if they can communicate within the same node.

I believe the issue could also be due to Jumbo Frames misconfiguration across ports.

VLAN misconfiguration on the switch? That sounds like the culprit to me. The network team is responsible for the switches, and if the VLANs aren't set up correctly, that could definitely cause issues with the VMs communicating across the network.
