I see, that makes sense. But I still think VSS is the most commonly used feature for this purpose.

Me too. SSR is the obvious answer. Although, I have to say, the other options are a bit random. Did the exam writer just throw in some random acronyms to try and trip us up?

Yeah, I think you're right. This question is probably testing our ability to match the right feature to the right scenario. I'm feeling pretty confident about this one.

Exactly, the other choices don't make sense for this question. SSR is clearly the way to go. I wonder if the exam is trying to test our understanding of different storage features and how they relate to specific use cases.

Okay, but what about the other options? A) VSS (Volume Shadow Copy Service) is a Windows-specific feature, so it wouldn't apply in this case. B) iSCSI is a protocol, not a feature. And C) UEFI is a firmware standard, also not relevant here.

I agree with Annmarie. SSR is the right choice here. It allows you to create snapshots that are consistent with the application's state, which is exactly what the administrator wants to achieve.

Hmm, this is an interesting question. I think the answer is D) SSR (Storage Snapshot Replication), as that feature is specifically designed to enable application-consistent snapshots.
