I'm not sure about the Far Edge Cloud, but the On-premise Edge Cloud definitely plays a role in the 5G Core control plane.

The 5G Core control plane definitely needs the Metro Edge Cloud and the Core/Central Cloud. Those are critical components for distributed cloud architecture.
