I was about to select D) 7, but then I remembered that the router sends the Query to a specific multicast group, not a general broadcast. So C) 6 must be correct.

I'm not sure, but I think the answer might be B) 2 because the router might send a response and one of the receivers might also respond.

C) 6 seems like the right answer to me. IGMP v2 hosts respond directly to the Query, and with 6 active receivers, we should get 6 responses.
