B is the way to go, folks. Gotta love that combination of SAP-ingress and network policy. It's like a secret sauce for your MPLS network. Just don't forget the croutons.

B) The EXP bits are set on the first network egress, based on a combination of the SAP-ingress classification and the network policy applied.

A) The first 3 bits of the DSCP value are copied directly into the EXP field on the first network egress.

Option A sounds good to me. Why do extra work when you can just copy the DSCP bits? Unless, of course, you want your network to work correctly. Hmm, tough choice.

User 2: But what about network policy and classification? Option B considers that.

User 1: I think option A is the way to go, just copy the DSCP bits.

I'm not sure, but I think the 3 priority bits are copied directly from the dot1p header into the EXP field of the first MPLS header.

C is the way to go! Why complicate things when you can just copy the priority bits straight across? That's the Nokia way, baby!

I'm going with D. It's all about translating DSCP to internal forwarding classes, right? Keeps things nice and simple.

Option B makes the most sense to me. The EXP bits should be set based on the traffic classification and network policy, not just copied from DSCP or dot1p.

I believe the EXP bits are actually set on the first network egress, based on a combination of the SAP-ingress classification and the network policy applied.

I think the EXP bits are set based on a default map that translates DSCP codes into internal forwarding classes on SAP-ingress.
