Wait, there's an address family called VPN-IPv4? I thought VPNs just used regular old IPv4 addresses. Guess I need to brush up on my VPN acronyms!

D is definitely false. VPN-IPv4 addresses are used end-to-end in the VPN, not just in the service provider network. I hope the exam is this straightforward!

This question is a piece of cake! I bet the exam writer is trying to catch us out with those tricky VPN-IPv4 details.

B is false. The RD is a 64-bit value, not 16 bytes. The rest are true statements.

A and D are false. VPN-IPv4 is used to distinguish between customer prefixes, not create them, and the VPN-IPv4 addresses are present throughout the VPN, not just in the service provider network.

I agree with Dorthy. Also, statement D is false because VPN-IPv4 addresses are present not only within the service provider network but also in the customer network.

I think statement A is false because the PE router creates a VPN-IPv4 prefix when it receives an IPv4 prefix from its remote CE, not local CE.
