Haha, UDP port 179? Really? As if BGP would ever use an unreliable transport protocol like UDP. This isn't a game of 'guess the wrong answer'.

TCP port 179, of course! BGP is a connection-oriented protocol, so it has to use TCP to establish and maintain a reliable session.

I'm not sure, but I think UDP port 179 is also a valid option for BGP.
