Omeprazole is CYP2C19 inhibitor which can prolong the elimination of warfarin, particularly R-warfarin. R- warfarin is partially metabolized by CYP2C19. The combined use of omeprazole and warfarin has been associated with reports of increased INR and prothrombin time (PT).

Hmm, Pioglitazone is a thiazolidinedione that works on insulin sensitivity. I don't think that's the right answer for decreasing glucose reabsorption.

I'm pretty sure Exenatide is a GLP-1 agonist, not a glucose reabsorption inhibitor. Maybe I should have paid more attention in pharmacology class.

Empagliflozin, the SGLT2 inhibitor, is the correct answer. It works by decreasing glucose reabsorption in the kidneys. Gotta love those diuretic effects!

I'm not sure, but I think A) Miglitol also works by decreasing glucose reabsorption by inhibiting enzymes in the intestines.

I agree with Carmen, Empagliflozin is a SGLT2 inhibitor that helps lower blood sugar levels by causing the kidneys to remove sugar through urine.
