I bet the Azure team who wrote this question is having a good laugh at us right now. They're probably sipping their coffee, chuckling at how we're all overthinking this.

Wait, are we sure this isn't a trick question? Maybe the real answer is 'It depends on the user's existing licenses'? I'm not falling for that one!

I'm going to have to disagree with you all. The correct answer is A) 0. The question doesn't say anything about the users actually having licenses assigned to them, so no licenses are used.

Nah, I'm going with D) 4. The question says the tenant has 5 users, and if you assign the license to Group1, that covers all 5 users, right?

Hmm, I'm not so sure. Shouldn't it be C) 3? I mean, Group1 has 3 members, so wouldn't that mean 3 licenses are used?

User2: No, it's B) 2 because only 2 licenses are used when you assign the license to a group.

I think the answer is B) 2. Since Group1 has 2 members, the Office 365 Enterprise E5 license will be assigned to those 2 users.

I also believe the answer is B) 2, as only Jacquelyne and Gail are in Group1.
