I bet the answer is B) Set Data Connectivity mode to DirectQuery. Anything else and the finance team will be coming after me with pitchforks for late reports!

A) Add a SQL statement? I'm not sure how that would help with the 5-minute data visibility requirement. Sounds more like a manual process than an automated solution.

Hmm, I'm not sure if C) Set the Command timeout in minutes setting is the answer. That might help with long-running queries, but it doesn't address the requirement for near-real-time data visibility.

I disagree. We should add a SQL statement to configure the data connection.

I agree with Tamar. DirectQuery will ensure real-time data visibility for detecting fraudulent transactions.

D) Set Data Connectivity mode to Import? Really? That would defeat the purpose of generating reports within 5 minutes of an update.

B) Set Data Connectivity mode to DirectQuery sounds like the right choice here. It'll keep the data in sync with the database without having to wait for a full import.
