Storage Migration Service is the way to go! It's like having a personal IT assistant to handle all the heavy lifting. *wipes sweat from brow*

AzcopyMaybe? I heard it's great for migrating large amounts of data to the cloud. But this is an on-premises scenario, so Storage Migration Service makes more sense.

Hmm, xcopy could work, but it would be a manual and tedious process. I don't think it meets the requirements for minimal effort and ongoing sync.

I'm leaning towards Storage Replica. It can provide the data redundancy and failover capabilities we need for a mission-critical file server. Plus, it's a native Windows Server feature.

Storage Migration Service seems like the perfect solution to meet all the requirements. It can copy the permissions and enable ongoing sync without a full copy. Minimal administrative effort too.

I'm not sure, but I think xcopy could also work for this migration.

I agree with Skye, Storage Migration Service seems like the best option to ensure permissions are copied and changes can be synced.
