Topic #: 20
[All AZ-104 Questions]

You have an Azure virtual machine named VM1 that runs Windows Server 2019.

You save VM1 as a template named Template1 to the Azure Resource Manager library.

You plan to deploy a virtual machine named VM2 from Template1.

What can you configure during the deployment of VM2?

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: B, E

To prepare a key vault for Azure Disk Encryption, you need to select Azure Virtual machines for deployment and select Azure Disk Encryption for volume encryption in the key vault access policy settings. These options enable the VMs to access the keys and secrets stored in the key vault for disk encryption. Creating a new key or secret is not required, as Azure Disk Encryption can generate them automatically. Configuring a key rotation policy is optional and not related to preparing the key vault for disk encryption. Reference:

The question seems straightforward. Based on my understanding, you can configure the virtual machine size, operating system, administrator username, and resource group when deploying VM2 from the Template1.

Of course, you can configure the virtual machine size, operating system, and resource group during the deployment of VM2. But can you also change the administrator username? I'm not entirely sure.

I also believe we can set the administrator username during the deployment.
