I'm just hoping the correct answer isn't 'display mode = 100' - that sounds like it would make the files disappear completely! Maybe we should ask Samba's customer service for a hint.

Personally, I'd go for option B, 'valid files = read,write'. That way, only the files the user can actually access will be shown. Simple and effective!
