Which utility would be used to change how often a filesystem check is performed on an ext2 filesystem without losing any data stored on that filesystem?
Ah, this one's a classic. Tune2fs is the way to go, no doubt. Though I do wonder, who comes up with these names? 'Tune2fs' sounds like the title of a bad 90s techno album.
Definitely tune2fs! I remember learning about that in my Linux admin course. Changing the filesystem check interval is a classic use case for that tool.
Hmm, I was leaning towards fsck, but that's more for checking and repairing the filesystem, not changing the check interval. Gotta go with C) tune2fs on this one.
