What Fabric Gateway client API call could a client application use to update ledger state?

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: A

In Hyperledger Fabric, a range query with a start and end key is a type of query that searches for all ledger entries whose keys fall within the specified range defined by the startKey and endKey. This is used, for example, to retrieve a subset of assets from the ledger based on their key values, effectively iterating over a specified range .

D) Submit sounds like it could be the answer, but that's usually used for submitting transactions, not directly updating the ledger. I'm going with B) Invoke.

I was considering C) Update, but I guess that's more for modifying existing data rather than invoking a contract function. B) Invoke makes more sense.

I'm not sure, but I think it could also be D) Submit, as it sounds like it could be used to submit changes to the ledger.

I agree with Vicki, because the Invoke API call is used to update ledger state.

Hmm, I think B) Invoke is the correct answer here. The Fabric Gateway client API allows you to invoke smart contract functions to update the ledger state.
